The fuzzy local-global duality in detecting pictorial patterns

by Richardt, J, Karl, F, Müller, C and Klette, R
Abstract:
The detection of pictorial patterns comprises two universal aspects. Locally one has to decide which pixels belong to the pattern. On the other hand, the global parameters of the pattern must be determined. Our new approach combines these two aspects in a coherent formalism.
