Abstract:
This paper presents a cost effective and high speed road texture depth (RTD) measurement system based on laser scanning technique. The computing algorithm and embedded system development for the system are presented. Its performance was compared to the common methods for the RTD measurement. The results of laboratory and road testing are provided to show the good performance of the system. Copyright © 2013 IFAC.
